Parliament ratifies agreement on grant between Moldova and Japan on extending economic cooperation

Chisinau, 17 March /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today ratified the agreement on grant between the government of Moldova and the government of Japan on the extension of the economic cooperation.
Under the document, the government of Japan will provide the Moldovan cabinet with a grant worth 15 million euros for the implementation of a project on the improvement of the fire prevention equipment.
The means within the agreement will be used for the financing of procurements of ladders and 19 special intervention vehicles at fires and extrication, as well as for training Moldovan firemen and rescuers.
The period of the agreement’s implementation will be up to 30 April 2027.
