Moldovan writer edits prose book for children in Italy

Chisinau, 23 March /MOLDPRES/ - A prose book for children titled, Il gatto Farfallone (The Tomcat Farfallone), signed by writer Claudia Partole and translated in Italian by Lilia Bicec Zanardelli, has recently appeared at a publishing house from Italy.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Claudia Partole said her first book translated in Italian had been, Totentanz. Vita di una note (Totentanz. The Life of a Night), which approaches the subject of exodus of Moldovans to Italy.
Claudia Partole was born in the Cotova village, northern Drochia district, on 14 June 1955. Partole graduated from the Philology Faculty, journalism section, of the Moldovan State University in 1977. She deputed as writer in 1982 with a book for children. The writer was awarded prizes at International Book Saloons in Chisinau in 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009.
