Folk Craftsmen Fair held in Chisinau

Chisinau, May 9 / MOLDPRES /- More than 30 folk craftsmen from all over the country took part in the Folk Craftsmen Fair on Saturday and Sunday, which took place in the capital.
The event was organized by the National Center for Conservation and Promotion of Intangible Cultural Heritage, in partnership with Chisinau City Hall and the Metropolitan Church of Moldova.
Diana Dicusari, the director of the above-mentioned Center, mentioned that the event aimed to promote and capitalize on traditional crafts.
The over 30 folk craftsmen were appreciated with diplomas of merit from the organizers and enjoyed the presence of many visitors, who not only admired, but also purchased the objects on display at the fair. Present at the event, Angela Cutasevici, deputy mayor of the capital and Diana Dicusarî, general director of CNCPPCI, noted the importance of preserving the national heritage and personally thanked the craftsmen for the work and dedication with which they keep the traditional crafts inherited from their ancestors.
