Moldovan foreign affairs minister has meeting with counterpart from State of Kuwait

Chisinau, 24 May /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu, during his participation in the Davos World Economic Forum, has had a meeting with Foreign Affairs Minister of the State of Kuwait Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.
„We exchanged opinions on the bilateral agenda, confirming the willingness of an active dialogue between the two countries, including through the organization, in the near future, of consultations between the foreign affairs ministries on the political and diplomatic dimension and economic diplomacy,’’ the Moldovan diplomacy head said.
At the same time, the sides discussed the opportunity of boosting the Moldovan-Kuwaiti cooperation, with emphasis on the education sector, IT, cyber security, as well as the turning to good account of the economic, investment cooperation potential and increase in the volume of commercial exchanges between the two states. Thus, the promotion of the economic diplomacy’s priorities in the dialogue with this country from the Persian Gulf will be materialized also through exchange of experience between the Investment Agencies from both countries.
