Moldovan Border Police urge families with children set to cross border to observe protection measures during dog days

Chisinau, 29 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Border Police recommend that families with children, which intend to cross Moldova’s border, observe the measures of protection during dog days.
The institution’s employees recommend avoiding, as far as possible, the long-lasting exposing to sun in the time interval between 11:00 and 18:00, children’s proper hydration, making an as normal as possible environment, protected from heat, excessive humidity and air currents.
At the same time, border policemen recommend wearing sun hats, light clothes, made of natural linen, of light colours. Also, Border Police representatives warn parents not to leave children alone in vehicles.
If difficult breathing, tachycardia, vomiting, convulsions of even loss of consciousness appears in a child or other family member, people are urged to urgently call the 112 single number for medical assistance.
Meteorologists issued a Yellow Code of heat for 28-30 June, valid all over Moldova. According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, the maximal air temperature will oscillate between +33 and+35 Celsius degrees.
