Moldova might pay 980 dollars per 1,000 cubic metres of gas purchased from Gazprom giant

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovagaz stock company in next July might pay 980 dollars for 1,000 cubic metres of natural gas purchased from the Gazprom giant, which is by 100 dollars more against June.

The head of the Moldovagaz Administrative Board, Vadim Ceban, said on a social network that the sum had been established according to preliminary calculations. ‘’In July, the gas provided to Moldova, according to the conditions of the contract with Gazprom, will cost Moldovagaz 980 dollars per 1,000 cubic metres,’’ the enterprise’s director said.

Starting from 1 July this year, the tariff of the natural gas for the end consumers was increased to 18.61 lei for one cubic metre of gas, with the value added tax.
