Foreman from Green Areas municipal enterprise has status of suspect in file on death of girl in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ - A foreman dealing with cutting trees of the Green Areas municipal enterprise has been recognized and heard as suspect in a file opened for negligence at work of public people, which resulted in the death of a one-year girl in the Alunelul park from the Moldovan capital.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, at this phase of criminal prosecution, prosecutors instructed the carrying out of a biological expertise of objects of vegetal origin. Once the expertise made, the criminal file will be sent to court.

On 14 May, a one-year old girl was hit by a tree branch which came off a tree trunk, while the child was with her relatives in the Alunelul Park from Chisinau. The minor was carried to the reanimation section of the Municipal Clinical Hospital for Children; yet, the girl died because of the injuries.

On the same day, law-enforcers opened a criminal file on this case.
