National Integrity Authority's activity report for 2021 unveiled in Moldovan parliament

Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/ - The National Integrity Authority’s (ANI) activity report for 2021 was presented by ANI head Lilian Chisca in parliament’s plenum today.
Under the document, last year, the Authority received 65,232 declarations of personal wealth and interests through the e-Integrity information system.
On the same period, ANI considered 1,341 petitions on integrity incidents, 4,488 declarations of personal wealth and interests, 267 declarations on real conflicts of interests, 547 requests of integrity certificates and 127 ex officio notifications, submitted by the ANI head and other inspectors.
At the same time, in the context of the legal regime of the personal wealth and interests, the establishment of the substantial difference between the incomes got and the expenses and wealth got, as well as the spending made, ANI submitted to court 16 applications on instruction to confiscate the wealth. Presently, they are under consideration. Also, 27 notifications were submitted to competent law-enforcement bodies.
According to the legislation, the institution’s representatives annually present the activity report for the year before in parliament’s plenum.
