Term of work of commission for inflation control, monetary policy extended in Moldova

Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/ - The term of work of the commission for the consideration of the decision-taking process as to the inflation control and the monetary policy has been extended from 30 to 60 days. The parliament adopted a decision to this effect today.

According to an MP of the Action and Solidarity Party, Adrian Balutel, the term’s extension is necessary for the efficient processing of the material presented to the commission, which has a big volume of information.

The special commission was set up on 2 June 2022, given the high pace of increase in the inflation and prices, as well as taking into account a recommendation of the Supreme Security Council from 27 May this year.
