Moldovan parliament extends term of presenting report of commission for regulations in oil products sector

Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/ - The term of presentation of the report by the special commission on regulations in the oil products sector has been extended from 30 to 45 days. The parliament approved a draft decision to this end today.

According to the parliament’s press service, till present, the Commission members have held four meetings. Members of the National Energy Regulatory Agency, Economics and Infrastructure Ministry, economic agents and experts in the field participated in the meetings.

The special commission was set up by the parliament, in order to consider the efficiency of the enforcement of the regulations in the oil products sector. The need to create it resulted from the evolution of prices for oil products on the last period, as well as from recommendations by the Supreme Security Council.
