Ecological event organized in north Moldova city, at Fish Festival

Chisinau, 4 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Centru Regional Development Agency (ADR Centru) on 3 July held an activity on awareness about the rational use of water resources and environmental protection. The event was organized in the Rezina city, at the Fish Festival, on the Dniester bank.
The team of the project’s implementation raised the awareness of the Rezina city’s residents and its guests as to the rational use the water resources and environmental protection at the second phase of the campaign, which is part of a Moldovan-Slovakian project, Improvement of the living standards of the Rezina city residents: ensuring the access to the sewerage system.
This activity was carried out on the Dniester river bank, at the first edition of the Fish Festival, organized by the Rezina city hall and its partners. ‘’Along with the city’s residents and the festival’s visitors, a contest with questions was organized on the environmental protection and water resources, rational use of water resources, as well as the awareness about the benefits/damages caused to the environment through the activity of each of us. The participants received a string of informative and visual identity materials, worked out within the campaign,’’ ADR Centru said.
The project is carried out by the Senec-Pezinok Regional Development Agency, Slovakia, in partnership with ADR Centru and the Rezina city hall. The project’s activities are financially backed by Slovak Aid and co-financed by ADR Senec-Pezinok. The period of the project’s implementation is October 2021-March 2023 and the overall value of the activities planned amounts to 218,000 euros.
