Reconstruction of road in central Calarasi district of Moldova finished

Chisinau, 4 July /MOLDPRES/ - The works of rehabilitation of the Corridor 8.3 G85 R21 – Oniscani, with a length of about 10 km, from the central Calarasi district have been fully finished. The State Administration of Roads (ASD) made statements to this effect today.

The rehabilitation of the road which crosses the settlements Harbovat, Sverida and Oniscani will considerably improve the infrastructure in the zone, the tourism, will attract economic agents, will facilitate citizens’ access to the health, education and trade centres. ‘’Also, both pedestrians and transport means will benefit from traffic security and safety,’’ ASD said.

Financed by World Bank’s sources, the project is part of the Programme on Improvement of Local Roads, worth over 88 million lei (about 4.4 million euros).

The works carried out are subjected to the period of remedying the defects, so that any defection detected during one year will be remedied at the expense of the entrepreneur.
