Moldovan-Swedish project to be carried out in hydrometeorological sector

Chisinau, 4 July /MOLDPRES/ - A technical assistance project in the new information technologies field and digitalization of the services provided will be implemented by hydro-meteorological institutions from Moldova and Sweden.

An agreement to this effect was reached, after representatives of the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute had paid a working visit to the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) of Moldova on 28 June – 1 July.

The Meteorological and Hydrological Institute is a governmental agency from Sweden which works in subordination to the Environment Ministry.

Also, the structure has expertise in the fields of meteorology, hydrology, oceanography and has extended services and commercial operations in these sectors.
