Project for consolidation of enterprises, communes to be carried out in two Moldovan cities

Chisinau, 5 July /MOLDPRES/ - The project titled, Strong enterprises and communes for Moldova, will be implemented in Edinet and Soroca till 2025. The project is backed by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) Moldova and is aimed at improving the social and economic perspectives of the residents.
„The integrated urban development, along with the creation of jobs in the North Development Region will contribute to the improvement of the living conditions in the region and will create premises for boosting the work of the business environment and the civil society,’’ a head of section at the North Regional Development Agency (ADR Nord), Elena Verenciuc, said.
„The project is to contribute to the well-being of the local residents, pursuing the priorities of Moldova’s government and its citizens. The project will be implemented during 2022-2025. This project contributes also to the programme financed by the European Union, EU4Moldova – Local Communities, in the basic supply of municipal services and regional economic development, in order to promote the municipal development in more districts from Moldova, among which Edinet too,’’ ADR Nord said.
The project, Strong enterprises and communes for Moldova, is financed by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and is co-financed by the European Union. The project is implemented by GIZ Moldova, in partnership with Moldova’s State Chancellery.
