National Food Safety Agency ordered withdrawal of batch of chicken eggs from market

Chisinau, August 30 /MOLDPRES/- The National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) said it is withdrawing a non-compliant batch of chicken eggs from the market.
"Raiplai Avicola food operator has initiated the procedure of withdrawal from the trade network and recall from customers of eggs for human consumption, determined by the detection of the presence of Salmonella Enteritidis in the feces of hens", the institution said.
The agency notes that it is about - Chicken eggs for consumption; Origin: Republic of Moldova, Briceni, Tabani village; Manufacturer's code: 3MD BR 004. Expiry date of withdrawn batches: from 13.09 to 24.09.2022.
According to ANSA, people who purchased products from the batches are asked to refrain from consuming them and are entitled to return them to the store where they were purchased.
