British Minister of State for Europe to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 3 October /MOLDPRES/ - Minister of State for Europe of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Leo Docherty will pay a visit to Chisinau.

The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported that the agenda of the British official included a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu, as well as the holding of a joint news conference on 4 October. The agenda also includes meetings with President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita, Deputy PM Oleg Serebrian and other Moldovan officials.

During discussions at the level of the national delegations, the sides will tackle ways of strengthening the Moldovan-British relations, in the spirit of the Agreement on Strategic Partnership, Trade and Cooperation between the two countries.
