Chisinau, 3 October /MOLDPRES/ - A painting exhibition titled, The Animal from Me, by fine artist Nadya Izosimova from Chisinau has been recently inaugurated at the Arbor.art.room gallery from Bucharest.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the head of the Arbor association for culture and arts (organizer of the event), Victoria Nagy Vajda, said this was the first exhibition by the young fine artist in Bucharest, conceived as an exhibition-manifesto, thought out around a string of works titled, The Animal from Me.
According to Victoria Nagy Vajda, through this exhibition, Nadya Izosimova sets a way of overcoming the obstacles which jams her creation act. Through art, Nadya speaks about emotions which can be less confessed, such as fury and suppressed pain, as well as sexuality, imperfection, vulnerability and the wish to regain the legitimate right to life.
Nadya Izosimova was born in a family of engineers, with parents interested in culture, in the Bender city in 1988. She always liked to draw, although initially she did not think that she would become fine artist. And the fact that she is presently an artist is due to a mere incident. After Izosimova had failed to be admitted to a university from Moscow, she returned home to think what she really wants to do. Inspired by the trend of creative industries, she was registered at the Fine Arts and Design Faculty of the Ion Creanga Pedagogical University from Chisinau, at the graphic design specialty. The comprehensive syllabus, which includes, painting, graphic arts, art of pottery, helps her understand everything which motivates her, fulfills her and gives her perspective of art.
The exhibition will be opened till 30 October.
