Moldovan firemen receive five units of intervention technology from Austria

Chisinau, 4 October /MOLDPRES/ - The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) today received five units of intervention technology on behalf of voluntary firemen from Austria.
Attending the ceremony on the delivery of the vehicles were IGSU head, colonel Oprea Alexandru, the head of the team of voluntary firemen from Austria, Kohler Johannes Michael, and representatives of local public authorities.
Those five cars will reach the districts of Anenii Noi, Edinet, Straseni, as well as the emergency situations department of the Chisinau municipality. A special vehicle will be used in jobs missions by voluntary rescuers and firemen from the Capriana commune, Straseni district.
The donation on behalf of the voluntary firemen from Austria was made within the project titled, Special Vehicles for Moldova, and its goal is to promote the volunteering, exchange of experience, as well as the training of the Inspectorate in the field of intervention in fires.
