Chisinau, 15 January /MOLDPRES/ - The spokesman for the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE), Daniel Voda, has issued the following commentary on Russia’s brutal bombardments in Ukraine from 14 January:
„ The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry reiterates its firmest condemnation of Russia’s aggression war against Ukraine.
The today’s brutal actions, which targeted civilian, intensely populated areas from the citizens of Kiev, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Lviv, Odessa and Vinnytsa, seriously infringe any norm of the international humanitarian law and, implicitly, of the United Nations’ Charter.
Our citizens feel the dramatic consequences of this war and an extra proof is the discovery of remains of a missile, coming from Russia’s air attacks against Ukraine, in the zone of the Larga border segment from the Briceni district.
Moldova expresses, on this occasion too, its firm support for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the neighbour country,’’ the spokesman for MAEIE, Daniel Voda, added.
