Moldovan government to strengthen institutions, develop economy, enhance society's resilience on EU accession way

Chisinau, 8 March /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has received eight women ministers and secretaries for European affairs from Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Sweden and Romania. The women officials are representatives in the EU General Affairs Council, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The PM referred to the firm resolution of the team he leads to advance in the implementation of the reforms, for the benefit of the citizens and modernization of the public institutions. Also, Prime Minister Dorin Recean touched upon the institutionalization of the process of Moldova’s accession to EU, through the creation of those 33 working groups involved in ensuring the mechanism of coordination of the European integration process.
„The accession to the European Union is a national project of our country’s transformation. We make sustained efforts, in order to do our homework and the support of our partners is decisive. We continue looking with confidence to Moldova’s European future, to strengthen the institutions, to implement the reforms, develop the economy and enhance the society’s resilience,’’ PM Dorin Recean said.
The European women officials conveyed a strong message of solidarity and political support for the government’s ambitious agenda. They voiced confidence that Moldova’s place was in the great European family.
The interlocutors also discussed the regional situation, counteraction of the hybrid threats, strengthening of the strategic communication, political representation of women and promotion of the gender equality.
