Chisinau, 20 April /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean will not pay a visit to Brussels scheduled for today, because of changes in the agenda.
„In the context of the postponing of the public agenda of European Commission’s President Ursula von der Leyen, for 20 and 21 April, over family circumstances, decision-makers agreed on the countermanding of the visit to Brussels by Prime Minister Dorin Recean for a later date,’’ the spokesman for the government, Daniel Voda, said.
At a news conference held following the cabinet meeting on 19 April, Daniel Voda said that, on 20 April, PM Dorin Recean would pay a visit to Brussels, where he will discuss Moldova’s European agenda and the actions undertaken by the authorities to this end.
In Brussels, the prime minister was to have more meetings with European officials. This was supposed to be the second visit paid by the Moldovan PM abroad, after he made his first official visit abroad to Bucharest in early last March.
