Chisinau, 22 February /MOLDPRES/ - Prime minister Chiril Gaburici today visited the Chisinau-based Franzeluta bread-making enterprise, where he met employees and saw the conditions in which the latter work, the government's communication and press relations department has reported.
The prime minister visited production rooms, of which two were endowed with modern equipment in 2014, and took knowledge of the production process, especially at a new line where the social Bread Chisinau will soon be cooked. This type of bread disappeared from shops in late last year, because of the obsolete equipment, that went bad.
Thus, the bread that cost 1.50 lei will be sold again in shops in late next April. "I discussed a lot on the matter of price formation and we are to see how the government will back the factory, as it records losses in making the social bread. There are eight types of social bread in all. We established that, in the near future, the director of the enterprise is to come up with more proposals to clear up the situation in this respect," Chiril Gaburici said.
Franzeluta director Victor Cojocaru gave assurances that the new investment will not trigger an increase in the bread price, especially the social one.
The businessman hopes that, by modernising the enterprise and namely the launch of more modern lines for producing bread, the costs will drop. "The new technology will allow us producing a bread with a 1.5-fold larger volume, without using ameliorators. The bread will be preserved fresh for a longer time, up to 72 hours. The devices are new. These lines give possibility to use quality flour and different varieties, which was not possible with old mechanised lines," Victor Cojocaru specified.
To carry out the plan on the enterprise's modernisation, seven million euros will be spent, of which five million has been spent so far. The technology was brought from Italy, Germany, Slovenia and Slovakia.
The Franzeluta bread-making enterprise daily produces over 30 types of bread - an average of 150-160 tons of bread goods.
