Moldova attends meeting of Eastern Partnership senior officials

Chisinau, 1 April /MOLDPRES/ - A Moldovan delegation, led by Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Daniela Cujba, participated in the meeting of high-level officials of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) in Brussels on 31 March.
Discussions were focused on issues of common interest for the EU's six Eastern partners and the 28 EU member states, as well as the conclusions of the first period of implementation of the Association Agreements and priorities for the future, turning into account the principle of differentiation more dynamically, including in the context of the multilateral dimension of the Partnership and revision of the European Neighbourhood Policy.
Deputy Minister Daniela Cujba unveiled priorities of the European integration the agenda of the Moldovan government, the achieved results and expectations from the EaP Summit, due in Riga on 21-22 May. The Moldovan official informed about the results of enforcement of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement and the Free Trade Area.
For their part, the European partners reiterated their commitment for backing the partner states which are advancing in implementing the Association Agreements, including Moldova, at the political level, as well as through assistance tools. In this context, Moldova’s results in implementing the Agreement and the set priorities create new opportunities to attain the European integration objective.
