Business associations representatives submit recommendations to Moldovan government

Chisinau, 15 April /MOLDPRES/ - Representatives of business associations from Moldova expressed their opinions on the business situation in the country, in the beginning of the today's government meeting. At the same time, they presented a book of recommendations of the business community to remove constraints to doing business. The document was developed by three business associations: American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova, European Business Association and Association of Foreign Investors, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The recommendations regard regulatory policies to improve the investment climate in Moldova in tax, customs sectors, decision-making transparency, conflict mediation in business.
The initiative to give representatives of business associations opportunity to present their point of view and proposals at a cabinet meeting belongs to Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici, who has recently had a discussion on the topic.
The prime minister stressed the importance of ensuring transparency in the government’s work and effective cooperation with all partners, including business associations, to create a friendly business environment and attractive conditions for foreign investment in the economy.
