Moldovan arts gifted pupils to get increased scholarships

Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/ – The performance and special scholarships for talented pupils of the Republican boarding schools of arts and gifted pupils in forms IV – IX of the National College of Dance will be increased by 5 per cent, according to a decision approved by the Government today.

"This modest increase is determined by indexing prices for goods and services," the Culture Ministry said. For this project, the Ministry of Culture budget provides additional allocations amounting up to 60,4 thousand lei.

The performance scholarships of category I is 320 lei for forms II-IV, 480 lei for forms V-IX and 610 lei for forms X-XII. The scholarship of Category II for the upper forms is 500 lei, while the third category – 460 lei. The special scholarship consists 480 lei.
