Moldovan president meets president of Tajikistan

Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon has had a meeting with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Ashgabat. At the discussion, the officials highlighted, with satisfaction, the active bilateral collaboration between the two countries, within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and other international platforms, the presidential press service has reported.
In particular, the sides welcomed the fact that, following the last meeting of the presidents at the CIS summit in Dushanbe in September 2018, the third meeting of the inter-governmental commission for commercial and economic cooperation was held and a group of farmers from Tajikistan, interested in Moldovan specialists’ experience in the field of cultivation of fruits and vegetables, wine-growing and wine-making, paid a fact-collecting visit to Moldova.
Also, the officials stressed the fact that the bilateral legal framework included 12 inter-governmental and inter-ministerial agreements. Another seven draft documents, especially in the sector of commercial and economic cooperation, communication, migration, air traffic, are under elaboration.
