Moldovan president receives credentials from four accredited ambassadors

Chisinau, 16 October /MOLDPRES/ – During an official ceremony, President of Moldova, Igor Dodon, has received credentials from four ambassadors accredited in Moldova: Ambassador of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Steven Mark Fisher; Ambassador of Albania, residing in Sofia, Donika Hoxha; Ambassador of Spain with residence in Bucharest, Manuel Larrotcha Parada; Ambassador of Finland with residence in Bucharest, Marjut Akola, the presidency’s press service has reported.
Igor Dodon congratulated the diplomats on the occasion of accreditation as ambassadors in Moldova and the opportunity to contribute to invigorating bilateral relations of our states in all fields of common interest.
The head of state reiterated the firm position of the presidential institution on promoting a balanced foreign policy, based upon mutual beneficial cooperation relations with both the West and the East, based on national interests.
The President of Moldova wished each ambassador success in fulfilling the mandate, assuring that they can count on his plenary support in corresponding conduct of diplomatic activity.
