Moldovan cultural organizations can get grants from EU

Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/- The European Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture (EACEA) has launched the process of submitting applications for cooperation projects at European level, within the Culture section of the Creative Europe program. The deadline for submitting projects is 27 November 2019.
The submitted projects can last up to 48 months. Grants of up to 200 thousand euros will be offered for projects involving operators from at least three eligible countries and two million euros for those involving operators from six eligible countries.
All organizations from the cultural and creative sectors can participate in the program: non-governmental organizations, public institutions or private companies. Legal entities established in EU, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, acceding, candidate and potential candidate countries for EU membership and countries covered by the European Neighborhood Policy are eligible.
Private people cannot submit applications to get funding under the Creative Europe program.
Creative Europe is a financial support program of the European Union for the creative, cultural and audiovisual sectors. The program was launched on January 1, 2014 and provides for two implementation stages. For 2014-2020 the program has a total budget of 1.46 billion euros. For the second stage, 2021-2027 - 1.85 billion euros.
