Prosecutors conduct searches at real estate company in Chisinau

Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/- Prosecutors raided today with 13 searches at a real estate company in Chisinau, the homes and cars of members of an organized criminal group working in real estate sector.

The General Prosecutor's press officer, Emil Gaitur, said that following the searches, the law enforcement officers raised money, documents, telephones, documents and electronic media.

The prosecution was started by prosecutors on October 15, 2019, as a result of the police investigations and the information published in the media.

Thus, in 2018–2019, the criminal group organized an illegal scheme, which harmed the state budget and private people.

The Prosecutor's Office will give details after criminal investigation.
