Warm, sunny weather to maintain in Moldova on days to come

Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/ – The golden autumn continues in force the following week, as well, with generous temperatures for the season and sunny weather, the SHS’s information and media communication service has reported.

According to the meteorologists' data, in the following days, there are expected thermal values of 20ºC – 25ºC, during the day, and 05ºC – 10ºC at night throughout Moldova. Commencing Wednesday, 23 October, the weather will cool slightly, but it will cool around 20ºC.

It is expected sunny weather during the reference period, without precipitation. The lack of rainfalls, however, is not exactly welcomed by farmers, because the development of autumn wheat needs moisture. In this context, the hydrologists also point to a drought in rivers and lakes in Moldova and demand that water be used rationally. This year, for the moment, it is a warm and gentle October, but it is quite foggy.
