Promo-LEX association's Observation Mission finds out more incidents in carrying of out voting process in Moldova

Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Promo-LEX association has found out more incidents in the carrying out of the electoral process. The Promo-LEX programme manager, Pavel Postica, unveiled the incidents at a news conference.

According to Postica, the mission’s observers reported 321 incidents till 18:30.

“We have the first two cases of observers’ intimidation, one at a polling station in Soroca and another one in Sangera,’’ Postica said.

Pavel Postica noted that 11 cases of electoral posting nearby polling stations, 12 new cases of electoral agitation had been recorded today afternoon. Also, three cases of providing money rewards and three new cases of organized carriage of voters, in Sangera, Stefan Voda and Sangerei, have been registered.

Other infringements deal with the unjustified presence of people in the polling station and nearby electoral bureaus. ‘’To a great extent, it is about the presence of electoral contenders: in Cahul, Vatra, Telenesti, Dubasari,’’ Postica added.

Among other incidents reported by Promo-LEX observers, there are six situations of voters’ intimidation.
