Chisinau city hall sign cooperation agreement with Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Chisinau, 13 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall today signed a memorandum on cooperation with the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
At the event, the Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, said that he wanted the carrying out of joint infrastructure projects and deepening of the trade relations. ‘’We can attract experts in various sectors and advanced technologies, taking into account that the Hungarian state has a high industrial potential and qualified engineers,’’ Ceban noted.
The mayor also said that the signing of the document would allow attracting Hungarian investors for projects dealing with streets’ illumination, modernization of infrastructure and water supply networks, establishing cooperation to develop water supply stations, etc.
In the context, the Chisinau city hall along with the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize more fairs, exhibitions and conferences.
According to Ceban, the investment projects can be financed through a Hungarian bank willing to provide advantageous conditions for the implementation and financing of joint initiatives.
During his official visit to Chisinau, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban said that 100 million dollars can be allocated for the development of the Moldovan-Hungarian relations.
