Measures to support business in state of emergency to become valid by decision of Commission for Emergencies

Chisinau, 23 March /MOLDPRES/- The measures elaborated by the Government to support business environment during the crisis caused by the spread of COVID-19 infection will be approved by the decision of the National Commission for Emergencies. "These measures are needed now, when businesses have deadlines for paying taxes, other procedures, and they need security and support," Prime Minister Ion Chicu said after commission meeting.

The prime minister referred to the moratorium on all state controls during the state of emergency. Or, during this period, the fiscal, financial control regarding the quality of the products / services, the technological parameters and / or the specific requirements for the type of activity carried out, as well as the control on observance of the labor protection norms will be suspended.

These and other measures worked out by the Ministry of Finance will enter into force following approval by the Commission for Emergencies.

During the period of emergency (March 17-May 15, 2020) the provisions of the Commission for Emergencies are mandatory and enforceable for the heads of central and local public administration authorities, economic agents, public institutions, as well as for citizens and others.

Since the state of emergency, the Commission has met three times, taking the necessary decisions to ensure order in the state, respecting the decisions of the authorities and diminishing the crisis state, caused by the spread of the new type COVID-19 coronavirus.
