As many as 835 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 29 September /MOLDPRES/ -A number of 2,787 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 835 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 52,029 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 58 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 26, medical assistants –23, auxiliary staff employees – 9.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 568 are in serious condition (of whom 36 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus) and 1,576 people are in medium serious condition, while the other patients are satisfactory condition.

Another 362 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 38,579 persons have been healed of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another nine deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,310 people dead of this virus in all.
