Dozens of households flooded by yesterday's rains

Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRE/- Dozens of households were flooded and two gas pipelines were damaged by yesterday's heavy rains.

According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Interior / IGSU /, in Comrat the precipitations muddied 39 private households, two warehouses, being damaged two natural gas supply pipes.

Rescuers evacuated 11 people and unblocked several transport units. Another 14 households were affected in Dezghingea, Gagauzia, where firefighters intervened to help.

The intervention of the rescuers was also necessary in Congazcic locality, where the precipitations also affected parts of the roads. In total, in Gagauzia were involved for liquidating the consequences of exceptional situations 43 IGSU employees with eight trucks and eight hydraulic pumps.

Commissions for emergencies are on the spot to estimate damages.
