1 October 2020 - last day for registration of presidential candidates

Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/- Tomorrow, 1 October 2020 is the last day for submission of documents for registration of candidates for the position of President of the Republic of Moldova.

According to the Central Electoral Commission, the documents for the registration can be submitted before 1 October, 17:00. If two or more applicants submit the documents for registration on this day, at 18.00 CEC will be convened to organize the draw and establish the preliminary order of registration of potential candidates in the ballot.

So far, the CEC has registered five candidates, and three other cases are being examined.
