As many as 1,013 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,472 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 1,013 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 53,042 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 55 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 20, medical assistants –28, auxiliary staff employees – 7.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 649 are in serious condition, of whom 39 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus.

Another 418 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 38,997 persons have been healed of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another ten deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,320 people dead of this virus in all.
