Decision allocating allowances to employees infected with COVID-19 published in Official Journal of Moldova

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/- About 24 million lei will be allocated from the government's intervention fund to the central and local public administration authorities for granting one-off allowances to employees infected with COVID-19 at work. A decision in this regard of the cabinet was published today in the Official Journal.

About 8.6 million lei will be offered to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection and about three million lei - Chisinau Municipal Council.

Also, money will be provided to Ministries of Justice, Defense, Economy and Infrastructure, Internal Affairs, Superior Council of Magistracy, General Prosecutor's Office, National Anticorruption Center, local councils in municipalities and districts of the country, Executive Committee of Gagauzia. 1,497 people will benefit from one-off allowances.

Employees infected with COVID-19 will benefit from one-off allowances amounting to 16 thousand lei, in accordance with the instuction of the Commission for Emergencies.
