Industrial platform constructed in village from central Moldova district

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Ion Chicu today visited the location for the construction of the industrial platform in the Danceni village, central Ialoveni district. The platform is to be arranged on the area of the former vocational school No 11 from the settlement, with an area of about 6.5 hectares.

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the PM said that the industrial platforms represented an efficient instrument of developing settlements, which contributes to the growth of the economy, as well as to the creation of new jobs in the zone. ‘’It is complicated to attract economic agents, but not impossible. We should provide them attractive conditions for investments, revise the list of agents on the waiting list and we will provide every support to this end,’’ Ion Chicu said.

The local authorities say that these buildings on the identified area can be used and transmitted to economic agents. ‘’We want to attract investors, contribute to the development and modernization of the settlement. It is important that at present there are all conditions of infrastructure, water and gas supply networks,’’ the mayor of the Danceni village, Victoria Butuc, said.

At the visit, the prime minister welcomed the investments in the system of water-purification and sewerage of the Danceni settlement.

The decision-makers informed the PM about the march of the works and the stages of construction. About 90 per cent of the works have been carried out. The setting of the needed equipment comes next. Also, the capacity of the water-purification station will be sufficient, in order to be connected to those 800 households. The station will be put into operation in about three months.

The construction of the water-purification and sewerage system in the Danceni village was approved by the National Ecological Fund in 2015. The overall value of the project is 19.4 million lei. The contribution of the Danceni mayoralty has been 1.4 million so far.
