As many as 952 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 2 October /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,152 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 952 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 55,016 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 55 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 22, medical assistants –26, auxiliary staff employees – 7.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 689 are in serious condition, of whom 40 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus and 1,709 patients are in medium seriousness condition.

Another 503 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 40,002 persons have been healed of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another eight deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,344 people dead of this virus in all.
