As many as 322 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 5 October /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 1,236 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 322 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 56,901 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 33 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 12, medical assistants –11, auxiliary staff employees – 10.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 744 are in serious condition, of whom 50 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus and 1,751 patients are in medium seriousness condition. The other patients are in satisfactory condition.

Another 512 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 41,467 persons have been healed of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another nine deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,375 people dead of this virus in all.
