Chisinau, 6 October /MOLDPRES/- The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) and the Technical University of Moldova (UTM) signed a cooperation agreement today.
The agreement aims at achieving effective cooperation to adjust the education process to the needs of economic and social environment in Moldova and ensuring the level of training of staff, focused on European Community standards, strengthening the potential of ANRE with competent highly qualified staff.
"The signing of the cooperation agreement between ANRE and TUM, for me, as a former graduate of the Technical University, is a natural and necessary act. We want to get involved and contribute to becoming future specialists, to support and appreciate their knowledge applied in practice, to familiarize them with the specifics of the Agency's activity and to help them build a professional career. In implementing the agreement, we will also take into account this aspect of the relations between the two institutions ", ANRE director-general Veaceslav Untila said.
In the same context, Viorel Bostan, UTM rector said “the Technical University has a rich experience in training high quality specialists, or, when the student is interested in the activity in a field for which he is to be trained, the result is very good”.
The document provides for technical-scientific cooperation and exchange of information for the development and improvement of staff in engineering and technology; developing partnership relations between the university environment and the economic and social environment; etc.
The first concrete step of collaboration between these institutions was the transmission by ANRE of the equipment from the endowment of the former State Energy Inspectorate, for the consolidation of the technical-material base of the laboratories of the Faculty of Energy and Electrical Engineering of UTM.
