Chisinau, 6 October /MOLDPRES/ - The State Fiscal Service (SFS) will ensure the continuous monitoring of the economic activities with high risk of tax non-compliance, in order to prevent possible cases of causing damage to the state budget.
One of the SFS’ main goals is to apply measures meant to discourage the illicit carrying out of the entrepreneurial activity. ‘’During the 2020 year, actions were undertaken of voluntary and forced compliance towards the tax payers who provide services of inter-urban/international transport of passengers, in taxi regime, and private people who practice activity of illicit transport of passengers in the international traffic and in taxi regime,’’ sources of the Fiscal Service said.
According to the sources, on this period, SFS received 278 contravention files on the practicing of the transport of passengers and/or goods, presented by the National Auto Transport Agency, as a result of the actions of fiscal administration undertaken against private people (drivers) who illicitly practice transport of passengers and/or parcels in the international traffic, 72 private people (drivers) were contraventionally sanctioned, under the Article 263, paragraph 1 of the Contravention Code.
To avoid situations of sanctioning, the State Fiscal Service recommends compliance with the provisions of the legislation.
