Moldovan government approves regulation on airdromes

Chisinau, 7 October /MOLDPRES/ - The government today approved a regulation on the administrative requirements as to certain categories of airdromes. The Economics and Infrastructure Ministry (MEI) will have the control over the regulation.

The regulation on the administrative requirements as to certain categories of airdromes transposes the provisions of the document of the International Civil Aviation Organization, Manual on Certification of Airdromes.

The goal of the regulation is to establish a system of regulation, which is to ensure the compliance of installations, equipment and operational procedures of the certified airdromes with the standards and practices recommended, in uniform conditions of safety, regularity and efficiency, through ensuring a continuous supervision of the work of the airdrome/airport/heliport operators by the present Regulation.

MEI elaborated the draft, in order implement some stipulations of Moldova’s Air Code.
