Chisinau, 8 October /MOLDPRES/- The promulgation decree and the law on automated information system for recording offenses, contravention cases and persons who have committed offenses will be published in the Official Journal on 9 October.

The document sees the rules for creating and managing the unique automated information system, principles of operation, rights and obligations of owners, holders and participants in this system and will be implemented based on the existing and functional contravention record system within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The creation of the system was provided in the government Action Plan for 2020-2023, by which the Ministry of Internal Affairs was designated as the authority responsible for automating the record of offenses, contravention cases and persons who have committed offenses.

This law enters into force on the expiry of 3 months from its publication in the Official Journal.
