Several youth businesses supported by Finance Ministry

Chisinau, 8 October /MOLDPRES/- Through the Youth Credit Facility Program, launched in 2019 by the Finance Ministry, 248 businesses of young entrepreneurs are financed worth 154.3 million lei.
According to the Ministry of Finance, 101 sub-projects worth 59.4 million lei were credited in nine months of 2020.
The program is extended to all districts of the country and is implemented through the subsidiaries and agencies of nine participating financial institutions, which assume all credit risks. Most sub-projects were presented and financed in Gagauzia, Rascani, Hancesti, Glodeni, Anenii Noi, Chisinau, Drochia.
The program aims to facilitate young people's access to financial resources favorable for the development of viable businesses, create and maintain jobs.
Program beneficiaries may become private people or legal entities aged between 18 and 35 who own at least 75% of the property of the enterprise / business. The maximum amount of a loan is 1.5 million lei. Eligible areas of activity are businesses both in agriculture in rural areas of the country and in any other eligible areas of activity throughout the country, including newly registered businesses.
