Official Journal to publish amendments on CNAM status

Chisinau, 8 October /MOLDPRES/- The 9 October Official Journal will publish the amendments to a government decision on the status of the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM).

According to the document, to achieve goals, the company exercises its powers in the following areas: managing the compulsory health insurance funds; record of private people in the system of compulsory health insurance and mandatory health insurance policies; evaluation and monitoring of medical and pharmaceutical service providers included in the system of compulsory health insurance.

Also, CNAM will be able to participate in working out / modifying the program of the compulsory health insurance and to submit proposals on the size of the compulsory health insurance policies, transfers from the state budget, as well as to grant subsidies etc.

According to the amendments, the central apparatus of the National Health Insurance Company will be made up of management, ten departments and six sections.

The amendments will enter into force tomorrow, following its publication in the Official Journal.
