Three hospitals, 14 lyceums from Moldovan capital to be thermally insulated

Chisinau, 8 October /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 17 public institutions from Moldova’s capital will be thermally rehabilitated within the project, Energy efficiency and thermal rehabilitation of building from the Chisinau municipality. The project is implemented by local public authorities, with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), European Investment Bank and E5P Energy Fund. The project’s overall value is of 26 million euros.

According to the Chisinau city hall’s press service, on the next period, the buildings will be insulated outside, will benefit from the replacement of the thermal systems; replacement of the old cooking equipment from the nourishment unit; setting the inside illumination network based on LEDs; setting of photovoltaic systems for generating electric energy; systems of intelligent metering.
