Tiraspol informs about release of two policemen from arrest

Chisinau, 8 October /MOLDPRES/ - The so-called foreign affairs ministry from Tiraspol today afternoon issued a communiqué, which reads that the two policemen had been detained for alleged committing of offences, but had been already released.
According to the press release, ‘’certain political forces tried to speculate the situation on electoral purposes.’’
The communiqué also reads that a phone conversation between the head of state, Igor Dodon and the breakaway Tiraspol leader, Vadim Krasnoselsky, took place today, in which the interlocutors confirmed their adhesion to the principles of constructive dialogue. ‘’Observing the demands, the institutions abstained from choosing a preventive measure in form arrest for those two policemen and they were released,’’ the communiqué reads.
The head of the parliament’s commission for national security, defence and public order, Alexandru Jizdan, said there were four persons kidnapped by the forces from the left bank of Dniester.
