Number of beds for patients with COVID-19 to be increased in Chisinau

Chisinau, 9 October /MOLDPRES/- Under the order of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health of Chisinau City Hall, at the Municipal Clinical Hospital Gheorghe Paladi in the capital will be activated an additional 110 beds, of which six beds of intensive care.

In this context, mayor Ion Ceban said that the municipal authorities ensured the access of the sick patients, who are to be hospitalized, including the medical staff, separate from the other blocks of the specialized medical institution.

At the Center COVID-19 Chisinau from MoldExpo, managed by the Municipal Clinical Hospital Sf.Treime, arrangements are made for carrying out at first necessity of 200 beds, including 20 intensive care beds.

Starting today, 1037 beds will be found in strategic hospitals in Chisinau, of which 870 for adults and 203 for children.
